1Upon arrival at Cochin, meet and greet at the Airport or Railway Station. Later we proceed towards the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise and will indeed hold you captive throughout your stay. 2Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. 3Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady, located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest, which is home to a stunning variety of flora and fauna. It is bound to wake up and give pleasure to the nature lover in you. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, Sambhar, Tigers, Gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri, Langurs. Close to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. Take a boat ride here to truly bask in the true beauty of the place. Coming back from the boat ride, you can go for local shopping & visit spice plantations also. 4After having your breakfast , Half day sightseeing in Trivandrum including Puthen Malika palace, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Gardens, Reptile House, Observatory and Kanakakannu Palace. Relax and have leisure on the Kovalam beach- an internationally renowned beach. 5After breakfast, proceed for a day tour of Kovalam. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. You will visit Thiruvallam Parasuraman Temple, Lighthouse Beach, Kovalam Beach, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Hawah Beach, Vellayani Lake, Velli Tourist Village and Samudra Beach.Kovalam
6Post breakfast we proceed to Alleppey by road. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of East by travellers from across the World, this backwater country is home to diverse animal and birdlife. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called KUTTANAD, a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the World where farming is done below sea level. 7After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin. Cochin is the commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala. Cochin is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. It has one of the finest natural harbours in the World. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel and later start half-day sightseeing in Kochi, including a Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, Mattancheri palace, Fort Kochi beach, and Jew Street. Later witness the famous Kathakali Performance (optional)/harbour cruise (optional) covering the Islands, Kochi backwater and Kochi shipyard in the evening.
