After breakfast proceed to visit to Elephanta Tour : The Elephanta Caves (closed on Monday) are a collection of cave temples predominantly dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. They are on Elephanta Island. The Elephanta Caves contain rock cut stone sculptures, mostly in high relief, that show syncretism of Hindu and Buddhist ideas and iconography. The caves are hewn from solid basalt rock.
After lunch visit to Gateway of India, Hanging Garden, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhavan, drive pass through Marine Drive, Nariman Point, University of Mumbai, High court, CST Station etc. Stay overnight | Mumbai |
